Wing Special (as of date published): Wednesday $12 for 1lb wings and fries
The Review:
The night before Thanksgiving has quietly become a tradition for our wing crew. While everyone else is out reconnecting with hometown friends or dodging relatives, we gather for one of the best kinds of reunions: a wing night. This year, we took that tradition to Camino in West Allis. Camino runs two locations: West Allis and the original in Walker’s Point. I’ve always loved Camino for their pierogies, their brunch, their cocktails, and their general neighborhood-tavern charm. But I’ve never really thought of them as a wing spot, I was eager to see if we should!
Camino runs a simple Wednesday wing deal: an order of wings plus fries at a discount ($12), one sauce per order. As always, prices/availability of menu items/prices and/or specials are subject to change at the sole discretion of the bar without the knowledge of Milwaukeewings.com and may not be updated accordingly.
The wings themselves were impressive from the start. They came out crispy, lightly charred, and beautifully cooked. A great balance of crunchy skin and juicy meat, and the wings were generously sized—no little pigeon wings here. Flavorful chicken all the way through, tender and meaty. Just a really well-executed wing.

The Flavors:
Camino doesn’t have a giant flavor list, but what they do offer shows some creativity. They also rotate a weekly special flavor so your flavor lineup could vary. Our thoughts on the flavors we tried below:
Korean BBQ: Classic Korean BBQ notes: savory umami, a little sweetness, a little funk, and that sticky glaze that makes you want another right away. Solid flavor, well done.
Alabama White: One of the favorites of the night. You don’t see Alabama white sauce on many wing menus, which is a shame because this one showed why it belongs. Creamy, tangy, a bit sweet, a bit savory, and just enough spice. A standout flavor that works beautifully on crispy wings.
Bloody Mary Buffalo: My personal favorite. A twist on a traditional buffalo, bringing in all the fun Bloody Mary notes—tomato richness, a briny hint of pickle or olive, a dash of celery salt. Not a classic buffalo by any stretch, but a clever and genuinely delicious variant.
Nashville Hot: Listed as the hottest with four flame icons. In reality… not so much. Compared to the rest of the menu, it was mild and actually the least memorable flavor of the night. Still tasty, but lacking the heat I was looking for. Worth noting: I’ve had Camino’s Nashville hot on their brunch chicken and waffles, and that was far spicier. So the heat level on this one might vary from day to day.

Mean Green (Weekly Special)A green-chili-inspired sauce with a fresh herbaceous profile. A little sweet, very bright, and reminiscent of a Colorado-style pork green chili. Unique and refreshing.
Both ranch and blue cheese were top-notch, and that always earns extra points here.

Conclusion
Years ago, I remember having wings at Camino and thinking they were just okay. The wings on this visit were significantly better, enough to put Camino firmly into Certified Wing Joint territory. In addition to the wings, the fries were excellent, the cheese curds were killer, and the vibe was perfect for a pre-holiday outing.
For badges, Camino earns the Fun Times Badge thanks to the arcade games, the atmosphere, and the general good-vibes energy. It also deserves the Creativity Badge for bringing flavors like Bloody Mary Buffalo and Alabama White to the table. If you’re looking for a spot for your own night-before-Thanksgiving tradition, or just a midweek wing fix, Camino is absolutely worth your time.
