Wing Special (as of date published): Monday - $0.75 Wings

The Review:

Jersey’s Pub & Grill sits just up the road from the airport, the kind of place you drive past for years without really knowing what’s going on inside. No real online presence, spotty social media, and very little online buzz. If you don’t already go there, it’s easy to miss. But after hearing from a friend that this was his go-to wing spot, we decided to roll the dice and check it out on a 75-cent Wing Monday.

As noted, the deal is straightforward: 75-cent wings, six per sauce, dine-in only. No to-go boxes. No shortcuts. Just wings. Regular pricing looked to be about $8 for six, which is still reasonable, but the Monday special is where the magic happens. As always, prices/availability of menu items/prices and/or specials are subject to change at the sole discretion of the bar without the knowledge of Milwaukeewings.com and may not be updated accordingly.

I’ll be honest, I usually approach breaded wings with some skepticism. They can go soggy fast and lose their appeal. Jersey's has managed to crack the code, these wings stayed crunchy, even under a generous coating of sauce. And speaking of generous, these were big wings. Not every single one was massive, but most were, and at seventy-five cents each, that’s a heck of a value.

The breading helped the wings hold onto sauce beautifully, resulting in some properly messy, napkin-demanding bites. The chicken itself was meaty, juicy, and satisfying. Everyone at the table left full, which is always a good sign.

Jersey’s has a surprisingly deep sauce lineup, and we were able to sample a good chunk of it. The full flavor list is as follows, with the ones we tried below that: Buffalo, Hot, Teriyaki, Garlic Parmesan, BBQ, Hot BBQ, Korean BBQ, Memphis Sweet BBQ, Jersey's Korean Hot Pepper, Honey BBQ, Caribbean Jerk, Hot Honey, Boom Boom, Carolina Gold, Secret Weapon, Garlic Buffalo, and Chili Garlic.

Hot: My favorite of the night. This one builds as you go. Not a traditional buffalo, but pepper-forward with a nice tang and a heat level that creeps up on you. Flavorful, satisfying, and just hot enough to keep you honest.

Garlic Parmesan: Not heavy on the Parmesan, but very garlic-forward and savory. Simple, bold, and effective.

Korean Barbecue: A sweeter take on Korean BBQ than we usually see, with less of that funky, savory edge you sometimes get. Still very tasty and easy to eat.

Korean Hot Pepper: A drier, pepper-forward cousin to the Korean BBQ. Less sweet, more black pepper bite, and a nice change of pace.

Caribbean Jerk: A solid jerk sauce with a respectable kick. Warm spices like allspice and cinnamon came through nicely, balanced by a bit of citrusy sweetness. Flavorful without going overboard on heat.

Secret Weapon: Sweet and savory teriyaki like sauce with an extra sesame punch. This one was a crowd favorite and disappeared quickly.

Boom Boom: Normally not my go-to sauce as I often find it too sweet, but this version surprised me. Creamy, lightly sweet without being cloying, and just enough zing to keep it interesting.

Milwaukee Wings Crew Favorites:

Frank: Hot

Amber: Secret Weapon

Jeremy: Boom Boom

Rachael: Garlic Parm

Ross: Korean Hot Pepper

Molly: Secret Weapon

Overall

Jersey’s Pub & Grill is an easy Certified Wing Joint due to big and meaty wings, fair pricing, a strong sauce lineup, and a Monday night deal that delivers real value. While nothing quite pushed this into Hall of Fame territory, everything was solid across the board. I also have to give this place a rarely awarded Hidden Gem Badge as it flies under the radar all the while it was buzzing with regulars playing dartball, darts, and hanging out under a sea of TVs. It’s clearly a neighborhood spot that doesn’t need hype to stay busy. If you’re looking for a low-key bar with great value wings and a lively, old-school tavern vibe, Jersey’s is absolutely worth checking out.
