The Original Guide to Buffalo Wings in the Brew City

Wingstop : Now Open

Another national wing chain has opened its doors in Milwaukee this week, Wingstop is now open on 2086 S Miller Park Way in West Milwaukee, WI.  Can’t say I’ve ever had the opportunity to eat at Wingstop so I can’t say much about them.  I’ve head off on reviewing national chains as I tried to keep this more local, but, I’m thinking of doing it as a point of comparison.   So hopefully in the future I can get up reviews for Wingstop, Quaker Steak, and BW3.

  1. People, try the hickory smoked wings at Maxie’s Southern Comfort. Fantastic and huge at $9.95, half price on Tuesdays. They are the best I’ve ever had.

  2. You guys have to check out The Saloon on Calhoun with Bacon in Brookfield. They have seven made from scratch sauces (one using smoked habanero and bhut jolokia that doesn’t just burn your a@@ off) and 50 cent wings on Monday. The guy behind the wings, Louie, is a wing nut who talks and talks and talks wings non-stop like a religion. Plus 15 beers on tap and a constant rotating selection of bottled beer-worth a stop!
